"To awaken each morning with a smile brightening my face; to greet the day with reverence for the opportunities it contains; to approach my work with a clean mind; to hold ever before me, even in the doing of little things, the Ultimate Purpose toward which I am working; to meet men and women with laughter on my lips and love in my heart; to be gentle, kind, and courteous through all the hours; to approach the night with weariness that ever woos sleep and the joy that comes from work well done -- this is how I desire to waste wisely my days." LAURA MARIK was born and spent her childhood in Szolnok (Hungary). Both her parents are teachers and they have supported her from the beginning to choose the carrier what she always wanted. She chose music because she always loved singing. Later in Budapest she learnt jazz from professionals. After finishing two universities in Hungary (both in faculty of Arts), she wanted to experience the real jazz so she came to New York City to study music at The Collective School of Music. Since then she knew she had to come back to have performances, concerts in the city of achievements. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RJtdTzyg18E www.lauramarik.com Laura Marik (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube)

About our project: AbsoLUTE Movement/Lant Mozgalom Hungarian international culture needs a global society where it can expend and grow and we can present and share it. That's why it is necessary to create an independent Hungarian cultural platform that everyone can join without political or religious involvements. Where all can freely express themselves and where all can feel being loved and accepted. In order to create a qualified and truly valued independent Hungarian cultural life we organize special cultural events all around in the USA (in more than 20 cities) and sooner than later in Europe and in South America, too. Let's get together and build connections, help popularize Hungarian artists abroad and invite talented artists from Hungary. Let's tell others and understand what Hungarian culture means to us to being involved in our Hungarian culture independently. Practically, we would like to build up as many independent cultural regions based on Hungarian heritage as we can with our patrons and sponsors. If you come and join our events, it helps your region to grow culturally because we will use your donation to organize more cultural events in your region. Let's create together a new international cultural net and community based on our Hungarian cultural roots. Soon you will see a map with the regions and the patrons including the donations and the expenses of our events. We don't like corruption so you can follow where your donation goes to and how it helps to make changes in our common cultural life. Our main goal is also to reach the first and the second generation Hungarians all around the world and produce great cultural events where everybody who is interested in or loves Hungarian culture and language can have fun together as a cheerful cultural community. Our events are bilingual or multilingual. Thank you for your support! A havi tagsági dij segitségével olyan független anyagi alapot tudunk létrehozni, amellyel megteremthetjük a saját nemzetközi független magyar kultúránkat, amely területenként szabadon növekedhet a helyi igényeknek megfelelően. Köszönjük a támogatást! Együtt sikerülni fog!
